Isa 30:1  This is the LORD's message for his rebellious people: "You follow your own plans instead of mine; you make treaties without asking me, and you keep on sinning.
Isa 30:2  You trust Egypt for protection. So you refuse my advice and send messengers to Egypt to beg their king for help.

As christian Business professionals The Word Egypt has an unknown origin or name meaning as you dig real deep you find out its name has been shorten and condensed, so at the end the meaning is Black land, or opposite Red land...So looking at this scripture apparently it makes since not to make a treaty with the black or dark areas of our lives, those areas tend to keep us in trouble but never to come out of the dark for fear of being exposed. So why would we make treaty with our lust or hangups our hurts and fears.
Why would we consult the false god's rather consulting Our real loving God...
