Act 28:5  But Paul shook the snake off into the fire without being harmed at all. 

Act 28:6  They were waiting for him to swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after waiting for a long time and not seeing anything unusual happening to him, they changed their minds and said, "He is a god!"

Father God in the name of Jesus, we pray forgiveness for not properly disposing of venomous attachments on our lives, and we pray that no matter what others think about us, we will not give in to their opinion about  us that is contrary to the Word of God.
