AS YOU AND I KNOW THE PENALTY NO MATTER IF ITS THE SAME CRIME IS GREATER WHEN ITS AGAINST AN OFFICER SAME GOES WITH YOU AND I

2Th 1:6  since it is a righteous thing with God to repay tribulation to those who trouble you,
2Th 1:7  and to give rest with us to you who are troubled, at the revealing of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with the angels of His power,

As Christian business professionals in the Justice systems

there a crime, then 

there is a crime against an Officer

WHY RISK OUR LIVES, IF THE ENEMY CAN TREAT US LIKE ANYONE ELSE
