WE SHOULDNT BE SUFFERING, BUT SOME OF OUR SPIRITUAL INCONSISTENCIES

 

2Ch 21:5  Jehoram was thirty-two years old when he began to reign. And he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. 

2Ch 21:6  And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, like the house of Ahab for he had the daughter of Ahab for a wife. And he did the evil in the eyes of Jehovah. 

2Ch 21:7  And Jehovah was not willing to destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that He had made with David, and as He promised to give a light to him and to his sons forever. 

2Ch 21:8  In his days Edom revolted from under the rule of Judah, and made themselves a king. 

 

2Ch 21:12  And a writing came to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, So says Jehovah, the God of David your father, Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah, 

2Ch 21:13  but have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and have made Judah and the people of Jerusalem to go lusting like the fornications of the house of Ahab, and also have killed your brothers of your fathers house (who were better than you), 

2Ch 21:14  behold, Jehovah will strike your people with a great plague, and your sons, and your wives, and all your goods. 

2Ch 21:15  And you shall have great sickness by disease in your bowels, until your bowels fall out because of the sickness day by day. 

2Ch 21:16  And Jehovah stirred up the spirit of the Philistines against Jehoram, and of the Arabians who were near the Ethiopians. 

2Ch 21:18  And after this Jehovah struck him in his bowels with a disease that could not be cured. 

2Ch 21:19  And it happened as days and as the time went out, at the end of two years, his bowels fell out because of his sickness. And he died of painful diseases. And his people made no burning for him like the burning of his fathers. 

2Ch 21:20  He was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. And they buried him in the city of David, but not in the tombs of the kings.

2Ch 16:7  And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah and said to him, Because you have relied on the king of Syria, and have not relied on Jehovah your God, therefore the army of the king of Syria has escaped out of your hand. 

2Ch 16:8  Were not the Cushites and the Libyans a huge army with many chariots and horsemen? Yet, because you relied on Jehovah, he delivered them into your hand. 

2Ch 16:9  For the eyes of Jehovah run to and fro in all the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward Him. You have done foolishly in this; therefore from now on you shall have wars. 

2Ch 16:10  And Asa was angry with the seer and put him in a prison-house. For he was in a rage with him because of this. And Asa oppressed some of the people at that time. 

2Ch 16:11  And behold, the acts of Asa, first and last, lo, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Judah and Israel. 

2Ch 16:12  And in the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa was diseased in his feet, until his disease was very grievous. Yet in his disease he did not seek to Jehovah, but to the physicians. 

As Christian business professionals we must consider the things that was in our reach

THAT WE  MISS THAT OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE WE PERCEIVED IT WRONG

WE MISS A GOOD RELATIONSHIP BECAUSE WE WANTED TO BE RACHET

WE MISS A GOOD JOB BECAUSE WE WANTED MORE PAY UPFRONT

WE MISSED THAT EDUCATION BECAUSE WE DIDNT WANT TO SACRAFICE TIME TO STUDY

GOD WAS LOOKING FOR THE OPPPORTUNITY TO SHOW HIMSELF STRONG TO US

BUT WE MISSED

2Ch 15:2  And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him, Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. Jehovah is with you while you are with Him. And if you seek Him, He will be found by you. But if you forsake Him, He will forsake you. 

2Ch 15:3  And for a long time Israel had been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law. 

2Ch 15:4  And when they turned in their trouble to Jehovah, the God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them. 

2Ch 15:5  And in those times there was no peace to him who went out, nor to him who came in, but great tumult was on all the people of the lands. 

2Ch 15:8  And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim. And he renewed the altar of Jehovah before the porch of Jehovah.

Neh 13:22  And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of Your mercy. 

 

Neh 13:27  Shall we then listen to you, to do all this great evil, to sin against our God in living with foreign women? 

Neh 13:28  And one of the sons of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, was son-in-law to Sanballat the Horonite; and I chased him from me. 

Neh 13:29  Remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood, and the covenant of the priesthood and of the Levites. 

  

As Christian Business professionals, we Got to RE-teach our Children and there associates Respect 

we got to remind them why we set aside  at least one day for Godly, observation and REST

We may have to say if your not at church with me your not at HOME ALONE
